Aardman

Ever since I was a small kid that I am a fan of Aardman… of course I didn’t know that Aardman was behind the making of Morph which I remember as one of the first animation series I ever saw. However, as I grew up and got acquainted with other characters I was never deceived. Following Morph came Wallace and Gromit, Chicken Run and many short films. I was always amazed at the perfection of the characters and how humorous and smart the stories were. Even as I write, I can’t avoid laughing!

A while ago my friend K. sent me an e-mail in which she mentioned that the little creatures reminded her of Creature Comforts. I had never seen them and I ended discovering a whole new world. Creature comforts was initially a short film about animals living in a zoo that later became a series. I am delighted with it… the scripts are great, the sculpture is absolutely fantastic and it is really amusing. And looking at it I can’t feel less than inspired to keep on creating new characters.

No entanto, à medida que fui crescendo e fui conhecendo outros personagens, nunca me decepcionei.

  1. I LOVE Aardman! I always have! I used to watch my wallace and gromit videos on repeat when I was younger. Creature Comforts really is funny! I’m always excited when a new Aardman production comes out, you just know it’s gonna be good!
